The EMS Graduate Fellows for Science Advocacy and Diversity (EMS-GFSAD) program is an initiative in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) to formally support and expand the work of We Are For Science (WAFS) by supporting student leadership and establishing an administrative home in the college.
Please complete and submit the Adviser Concurrence Form below form for your advisee who is applying for an EMS-GFSAD fellowship.
The fellowship require excellent time-management skills in order to fulfil the fellowship requirements as well as the primary research or assistantship duties, while continuing to make adequate progress to degree. Please describe the applicant’s time management skills and ability to balance their research commitment as well as the EMS-GFSAD appointment.
